Kubota quickens the pace for Lightroom 2 users with RPG Speedkeys
Any Adobe Lightroom user will tell you shortcut keys are absolutely essential for boshing through your captured shots and speeding through your touch-ups. Mastering a standard QWERTY keyboard to use shortcut keys with one hand and holding a Wacom pen in the other is do-able but without a doubt it slows down the process. Times that effort by 1000 and you've got a real slog on your hands.
Image-editing master Kevin Kubota is always striving to find the quickest and easiest way of editing shots and now, as part of a limited release, he has teamed up with Tim Riley of RPG Keys to produce a dedicated Lightroom 2 wireless USB keypad.
The one-button access peripheral allows the user to carry out all the essential Lightroom adjustment tweaks including brightness shifts, exposure and fill light as well as access some of the more advanced Lightroom tools and apply some of the most popular Kubota Lightroom presets.
Initially there are only 200 copies available of the Kubota RPG SpeedKeys as part of a presale launch. However, you can keep your eyes peeled on Kubota Image Tools for further news on availability should you miss the boat.
Those who snap up Kubota Lightroom Workflow at the same time as Kubota RPG SpeedKeys will be eligible for a discount as well as a bonus saving on Kubota Lightroom Presets v3.
Priced at $349 Kubota RPG SpeedKeys is available to preorder (US Only) for an estimated shipping date of the 20 July at http://kubotaworkshops.com.
